Managing Director
As Managing Director at Victory Gaming, Ehren is responsible for the strategic planning and operation of the company.
Helping to launch the San Francisco-based electronic discount trading division eLarkin.com as a licensed securities trader, Ehren got a taste for the excitement of enterprise in the digital world and never looked back. Founding Thrive Media Inc. in 1998 gave him a strong foundation in creating multimedia software and complementary partnerships. "Royal Derby™", a multiplayer, Video Horse Racing Arcade Device created in partnership with SEGA Gaming was one of his notable successes and the intellectual rights of Royal Derby™ were eventually sold to Shuffle Master Corporation (Nasdaq: SHFL). In 2000 Ehren helped co-create Big Prizes Inc. an advertiser sponsored games and sweepstakes website that generated 1.7 million unique visitors per month which was acquired in 2001 by Jackpot.com, now a subsidiary of the Connexus Corporation. As Director of TechEdge Inc. (now China BioPharma – CHBO.OB), Ehren helped take the company public in 2004.
Since 2000 he has established game licensing agreements with companies such as Hard Rock Hotel, Real Networks, Unilever, MSN Sympatico and others.
Ehren is also Managing Director of Saltmine Software, a Victory Gaming sister company that offers software applications and technology solutions, and has a B.A. in Commerce/Business from the University of San Diego.
Director of Information Systems
Though it's the flashy graphics and intuitive user interfaces that grab all the attention, Dennis’ behind-the-scenes systems make all of Victory’s game magic possible.
Dennis is responsible for the development of system support programs, and deployment of production networks, quality assurance and application architecture - ensuring that all game projects are well supported and designed for optimum functionality.
During the last ten years of his career in Information Systems Design and Administration, Dennis has managed or advised teams in all facets of software development and support. Prior to his role at Victory Gaming, he was the Director of IT at Thrive Media Inc., which offered him an introduction to the best practices in designing and governing information systems in a complex environment. Dennis went on to serve as senior technician for IT Electronics, Canada, which provides technical services to Fortune 500 companies including SONY, Mitsubishi Electronics, and Packard Bell.
Dennis additionally served as a Lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces as an intelligence officer. He is a certified Microsoft Systems Engineer and has an A+ hardware certification.
